The world’s most powerful production roadster: the SL 65 AMG with its AMG 6.0-litre V12 biturbo engine generates an output of 450 kW (612 hp) and a peak torque of 1000 Nm. One of the main elements responsible for controlling this immense power is the asymmetrical, multiple-disc rear axle differential lock which ensures optimal traction, for example when accelerating out of a bend.
